Being kind to ones who are different

October 27, 2017

Response to a Story We Read Earlier

Your story made me think about my family from when I was a little girl going to church with my mom and dad and the rest of my siblings. A girl named Sheila from another family was different but my mom always whent out of her way to make Sheila feel welcomed & from there I now try to be kind to ones who struggle with being different. Sheila has now passed on to be with the Lord and today I know he would not see her as different.

I feel my life has been richer for Sheila being welcomed to our family even if it was only on Sunday morning.
