We claim to be open but…
Dear United Church,
The thing that has hurt the most is how open and accepting we claim to be but then we do the exact opposite. We refuse to accept people because they are different. The United Church claims to be open but they shut down or shut out gay or trans or bisexual or pansexual peple. Love is love and who cares who it is [that a person loves]. Letting people love who they love won’t hurt anyone. God loves everyone no matter their gender, sexual identify or race. Shouldn’t the Church, as a house of God, respect and treat them fairly as well?
