Someone you can be safe with
I’d like to tell gay, lesbian or trans people that there are more people like me out there… willing to support you and be an ally. Someone that you can be safe with. I won’t pretend to understand everything, and I might need to ask some questions every now and again about gender, identity and your challenges. Please be patient with me/us. We are on your side.
I wish for a world that is inclusive, accepting and affirming, and I will do my part in creating that vision and lead by example. You are not alone.
