A Prayer, by Martha White

Martha is a member of Whitehorse United Church. This poem was written in November 2017 as part of the Iridesce: The Living Apology workshop.

God, you know where my heart is at this time.

You tell me to love and accept love.

There are those who say… I am wrong.

Please Lord… I am feeling so alone.

Please take my hand and walk with me.

For I know that you have shared your truth, and I know that I am not alone.

You tell me to look up and see those whose hearts are like mine.
