Dear United Church

We are one, I would like for us to share some of the rich, tear-laden, joy-filled terms and concepts that have helped us capture our experience as a faith-filled, faithful community.

“Reconciliation” comes to mind. Maybe this isn't really a theological term after all, but I like it. It makes us account for all the parts. It is something we have struggled to bring forth, within our communities and in our world over the generations. And, we are standing on the stries of generations and generations of Christians who have tried to be faithful to and who have celebrated God in their lives. We are not alone.
