What is an ally in the church?

. a person who listens… with an open mind… to hear other people’s truths

. a person who can maintain a sense of balance, calmness coupled with passion

. acts with integrity
. acts with no thought of personal gain but to further justice
. is willing to risk, take a stand for what is right
. is willing to give time and energy to further just causes with no thought of what they will receive in return
. maintains a humility while acting boldly
. does not appropriate the cause for themselves but is clearly an ally in support
