Identity is Sacred
Dear United Church,
Identity is Sacred.
Sacred is a gift, to be received.
I have a need to learn how to relate with, receive and share the Sacred.
When theology becomes a substitute for sacred, identity becomes lost.
Identity is eternal. Sacred is eternal.
Identity is of immeasurable value.
What forms identity is relationship.
My first relationship is with Sacred.
When I lose my first relationship, my relationship with my sacred self, I lose myself.
