I wish this issue

I wish this issue would come to a place of love, forgiveness and total healing. I wish that we would all just love one another. We are all children of God. We are loved by God and we should love and support each other.

Dear LGBTQ people,

I am deeply sorry that this issue still is a struggle. I am angry that even after all this time, the hurt continues to be there. Why must we judge? Why are the beliefs of some dominant over others? Why? Too many questions. I have and will continue to love all people…

Lament.

God, help me to understand why those who fear the LGBTQ community are so vocal, so misinformed, so hurtful and so powerful. Why are their hearts so cold? Why are we separating ourselves?
